As an avid martial artist, Jen discovered yoga in college and quickly recognized its benefits when
combined with her daily routines. In addition to easing muscle tension from an active lifestyle
and a clearer mind, she also felt more optimistic and enthusiastic overall. Her passion for fitness
inspired her to start teaching yoga so that others may experience the same benefits for
themselves. She completed her 200-hour training thru Radiance Yoga in 2013. Shortly after
becoming an instructor, her uncle approached her to ask if yoga would help improve muscle tone
in her youngest cousin’s legs. It was then that she found her calling to teach children’s yoga.
She has been teaching kids and family yoga ever since. She enjoys bring the strength and
balance of yoga to the youngest population in a fun and playful manner to help them stay
grounded as they grow up in today’s world.
