
Class Descriptions
Vinyasa
Classes will focus on moving with the breath creating a moving meditation. In this class more vigorous sequences will be linked using sun salutations. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Modifications will be shown to guide each student to their own personal edge.
Vinyasa 2
Classes will focus on moving with the breath creating a moving meditation. More vigorous sequences will be linked using sun salutations. Experience is necessary. Extra time and emphasis is on arm balances and inversions. Modifications will be shown to guide each student to their own personal edge.
Hatha Flow
In this class we link the traditional Hatha yoga postures into sequence of movements that "flow" with the breath in a series. There is no set sequence and in each class various, advanced postures, inversions and breathing techniques will be introduced. Hatha Flow is less strenuous than the Vinyasa classes and offers variations of Sun Salutation. This class is an all-level class.
Ashtanga
Ashtanga Yoga is a system of yoga taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois that links the breath, incorporates the bhandas (locks), uses a drishti (focal point), ample sun salutations and a set series of postures linked together in a sequence that prepares the body for each successive posture. Those already practicing Hatha Flow and Vinyasa should be able to attend this class, as the common link amongst the three classes is FLOW.
Beginners Yoga
In this class you will begin to build the foundation for your yoga practice and receive individualized attention as you gain flexibility, strength, and balance. Classes focus on alignment and exploring the fundamentals of standing, seated, backbends and twist. Modifications will be provided.
BelovedYoga Flow
In this class you will move through a set sequence. The synchronizing breath with movement will building strength, flexibility, and concentration. Classes are designed to build heat within the body helping you cleanse your body of toxins while calming the mind. This is an all-level class.
Beloved Vinyasa

Candlelight Yin
The Yin practice is a series of quiet stationary poses. The Yin practice is designed to work our connective tissues (ligaments and fascia) and to protect the health of our joints. It nourishes the flow of energy in our bodies through a practice of holding a series of floor postures for 3 to 5 minutes. Benefits of the practice are increased flexibility, energy flow and relaxation. The Yin practice is a perfect complement to the more muscular, movement-oriented practices of yoga.
Cobra Yoga (3 - 6 years)
Join us as we take little one on a fun adventure with the world of Yoga through stories, song and games!
Community Flow

Dharma I/II
Classes will focus on moving with the breath creating a moving meditation. In this class more vigorous sequences will be linked using sun salutations. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Modifications will be shown to guide each student to their own personal edge.
Dharma III/IV
This much deeper and amazing Intermediate practice builds on the teachings of Dharma II, and is designed for those wishing to move forward into our progressively challenging asana practices. Students will learn Dharma III/IV, igniting the entire body for practice and unleashing the life force within it. The balancing, back bending, twisting and inversion variations increase in difficulty. A special meditative head stand is introduced. This practice finishes with deep relaxation, breathing, and meditation exercises certain to bring a deep calm, sense of balance, peace, and invigorated energy to all students.
Giving Yoga
Classes will focus on moving with the breath creating a moving meditation. In this class more vigorous sequences will be linked using sun salutations. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Tends to be lighter then vinyasa. Donation only. www.GivingYoga.org
Kids Yoga (7 - 11 years)
Kids begin to explore the asanas and learn breathing and relaxation techniques. A class that balances the fun aspects of Yoga for kids with the ancient art of Yoga.
Meditation
Join us for a guided pranayama and meditation session. We will explore various breathing and meditation techniques. Donation only.
Mom/Infant (6 weeks - crawling)
The perfect yoga class for moms to come back to their mats with their little ones! A place to reconnect to your body, breath and spirit. All classes will have aspects of infant massage and core work.
Movement & Meditation
This class blends a 30 minute asana based practice with 30 minutes of pranayama and meditation. If you are trying to develop a meditation practice this is a great class to lay this foundation.
Prenatal
Gentle yoga for pregnant mothers. You will learn breathing, relaxation and specific yoga poses to help mommies through pregnancy and birth. In addition, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques are taught as an effective way to promote serenity, connection with baby and overall well being. If experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, please consult with instructor before registering.
Nia
NIA is a fun, dance-like fitness method developed by Debbie and Carlos Rosas. NIA is a mixture of guided and free form movements inspired by the Healing Arts (the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method, and Yoga), the Dance Arts (Duncan dance, Jazz dance, and Modern dance), and the Martial Arts (Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, and T'ai Chi). For over twenty years, NIA has remained a passionate, safe alternative to traditional aerobic fitness and has empowered people to move with dynamic ease and achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Parent & Toddler (crawling - 3 years)
A class that begins to actively engage your little ones into a fun yoga practice. A little for the parent and a little for the child(ren).
Power Yoga
Bring body, brain and breath into harmony with this class that blends strength and flexibility, endurance, balance awareness and focus. Strong, fluid movements require a focus of mind that is both challenging and invigorating. This class is geared to all levels; however, some yoga experience is recommended.
Senior Yoga
Gentle Yoga for Seniors (ages 55+) will provide a practice that honors and respects the mature body. You will enjoy increased strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and energy as you gently challenge yourself.
Sunrise Yoga
This is a donation only class. A quiet morning practice to wake up the mind, body and spirit.
Teen Yoga (12 - 17 years)
Calling all Teens! Join us as we explore postures that will take your body to new places, relax your mind and focus your breath.
Yin/Yang Yoga
A practice that brings the quiet, grounding and opening practice of Yin (hold poses for up to 5 min.) integrated with Yang (flow yoga to create heat) ending in a blissful Relaxation Pose. Each class will also include focused time on the breath- Pranayama.
